Chemetall - One-Stop Supplier for the Aerospace Industry
Automotive Components
Approvals and quality
For the international aerospace industry, approvals and specifications are essential. Our products cover thousands of global specifications and approvals. Chemetall is proud to offer products that meet or exceed the requirements of most of the world’s major aerospace standards. Our products are approved by all major engine and aircraft manufacturers. At
Chemetall you will find products and services specifically tailored to the requirements of demanding aerospace standards. This is also evidenced by a wide range of certifications, including EN 9100 (equivalent to AS 9100 Rev C, JIS Q 9100).
Environmental commitment
Chemetall’s commitment to environmental protection has made us one of the first providers of approved safe and environmentally friendly solutions. B. Chrome-free sealants, borate-free cleaners and azo-dye-free products approved for the aerospace industry. Our efforts have also led to ISO 14001 certification for most of our subsidiaries.
Chemetall Group - Automotive Components
Automotive Components
Chemetall offers advanced, environmentally friendly surface treatment technologies for automotive parts and numerous industrial applications such as cleaning, painting, gluing and machining. Our sustainable premium solutions are available for a wide range of applications, including aluminum wheels, bumpers, diesel injection systems, chassis, suspension and drivetrain (pistons, gears, bearings).
Steel, aluminum or plastic – Chemetall offers powerful pretreatment technologies for all substrates and the components made from them. Our large and sustainable portfolio of specialty chemicals allows process savings through lower temperatures, longer life (less wastewater, less water consumption), is safer and easier to use.
Environmental sustainability
Gardobond®That is Chemetall’s goal. To develop tomorrow’s technology today.
Gardoflex® is an advanced zinc phosphate process to reduce sludge, wastewater and energy. Oxsilan® is an advanced environmentally friendly thin-film paint pre-treatment that reduces sludge, water and energy consumption, resulting in a smaller footprint. At the same time, it is nickel-free.
Chemetall has a complete portfolio of room temperature technologies supporting CO2 reduction, from cleaning agents to conversion coatings. Developed for the Chinese market, our new “P” and “N” product portfolio, from cleaning agents to conversion coatings, is greener and helps our customers protect the environment.
Broad product portfolio for diverse applications
As a global technology market leader, we cooperate with all major automotive suppliers and system manufacturers in the field of surface treatment before painting, gluing, welding and machining. Through close partnerships, Chemetall develops processes perfectly adapted to the needs of your industry, improving quality, reducing process costs and space requirements and increasing productivity. Our broad product portfolio allows solutions for the entire pre-treatment process, from machining of steel, aluminum and plastic parts to cleaning, conversion coating, paint stripping, non-destructive testing, paint shop maintenance, rust prevention and transportation.
Chemetall machining coolants and cleaners combine to increase productivity by improving quality, reducing costs and achieving full product compatibility. Our experts support you in increasing your added value through our broad portfolio.
The automotive market is experiencing disruptive trends through autonomous driving and e-mobility. OEMs and suppliers have to adapt by introducing new materials and new processes. Welding is increasingly being replaced by adhesives and there will be a focus on lightweight materials (Al, Mg, plastics, hybrids) when it comes to substrates.
Sustainability through environmentally friendly processes and chemicals is becoming increasingly relevant and is linked to local and regional regulations. At the same time, the industry is faced with the challenge of reducing its overall environmental impact by reducing carbon dioxide emissions and CO2 emissions. In addition to the competitive environment of providing e-mobility solutions to customers without exorbitant costs, OEMs are constantly pushing for better quality and productivity. As an OEM direct supplier, Chemetall can leverage its extensive network of experts and comprehensive technology portfolio to help you proactively meet these challenges.
